Summer
in the Hair

Fashion and Beauty

Shimmering light on the skin, cooling shade, warm asphalt, and a salty sea breeze: the summer months gift us with the most delightful postcard moments—and perfect hair is part of that picture. Shiny in the sunlight, dancing lightly in the wind, carefree and resilient against external influences. It’s a journey in several stages—from the scalp to the ends.

Stage 1: The Foundation
Even before the first ray of sunshine, the scalp deserves attention with special head treatments. A pampered, strengthened scalp means fewer irritations, less oiliness, and more balance. Hair grows stronger and color stays vibrant longer.

Stage 2: The Wash
Shampoos and conditioners enriched with natural oils, hyaluronic acid, or panthenol provide intense moisture, tame frizz, and deliver silky shine without weighing the hair down. Panthenol strengthens hair fibers and adds elasticity, while hyaluronic acid revitalizes and gives smooth lightness. For color-treated hair, color-protecting shampoos and conditioners are essential.
By the way: even dark hair can develop a greenish tint from chlorinated water—so silver shampoos aren’t just for blondes. However, since they provide less moisture, they should only be used about once a week in combination with a rich treatment.

Stage 3: The Protection
Leave-in conditioners with UV protection may not replace a stylish silk scarf—but they do offer effective defense against harmful rays.

Stage 4: The Care
Summer means intensity—including for hair care. Only masks used for the full application time can restore vitality to the hair. And those who dream, care twice: overnight treatments work like a hidden beauty ritual while you sleep.

Summer is also the perfect time for an oil change. Whether pure or blended into a serum, as an evening ritual or a quick fix: just a few drops applied to the ends and lengths can repair brittle areas and strengthen the structure. For fine hair, jojoba or argan oil is ideal, while
coconut and avocado oil are especially nourishing for dry hair. Macadamia oil is particularly effective after a day in the sun or sea.

Even when the sun slowly fades, your hair will still shine—just like the memories of summer.
